Sugar-Free Keto Lemonade
Fresh, tart lemonade sweetened with erythritol and stevia instead of sugar. Crisp and refreshing over ice at only 2 grams of net carbs per glass.
Real lemonade, none of the sugar
A standard glass of lemonade can carry 25 grams of sugar. This one keeps the pucker and loses all of it by sweetening fresh lemon juice with erythritol and a few drops of stevia instead.
Fresh juice matters. Bottled lemon juice tastes flat and slightly bitter, while squeezing real lemons gives you that clean, sharp flavor that makes lemonade worth drinking. Warm the sweetener with a little water first so it dissolves fully and does not settle at the bottom of the pitcher.
Serve it over plenty of ice with a lemon slice, and keep a jug in the fridge for hot afternoons.

Recipe FAQ
Does lemon juice have carbs?
It has a little. Lemon juice carries about 2 grams of carbs per tablespoon, so the juice is the only real carb source in this recipe. Spread across four glasses, each serving lands near 2 grams of net carbs, which fits easily on keto.
Why did my sweetener settle at the bottom?
Erythritol dissolves poorly in cold liquid. Dissolving it in hot water first, as this recipe does, turns it into a syrup that mixes evenly and stays suspended. If you skip that step and add it straight to cold water, it tends to sink and leave a gritty layer.
Can I make a strawberry or raspberry version?
Yes. Blend a quarter cup of berries with the syrup, strain out the seeds, and stir it into the pitcher. It adds only 1 to 2 grams of net carbs per glass and gives the lemonade a pink color and a rounder flavor.
