Baked Cheese Crisps
Two-ingredient baked cheese crisps that shatter like a cracker. The ultimate zero-carb keto snack for scooping dips or eating straight off the tray.
The snack that is just cheese
Sometimes the best keto snack is the simplest one. Baked cheese crisps, sometimes called cheese chips, are nothing more than mounds of shredded cheese baked until they melt, spread, and crisp into lacy, crunchy rounds.
They carry essentially no carbs, which makes them a guilt-free vehicle for guacamole or a satisfying crunch on their own. A pinch of seasoning is all it takes to dress them up.
- Space the mounds well apart; they spread as they bake
- Watch closely at the end so they brown but do not burn
- Let them cool on the tray to reach full crispness

Recipe FAQ
Why are my crisps chewy instead of crunchy?
They likely came out of the oven too soon or did not cool long enough. Bake until the edges are deep golden, then let them rest on the tray for several minutes to crisp up as they cool.
Which cheese works best?
Hard, low-moisture cheeses like parmesan and aged cheddar crisp up best. Pre-shredded cheese works well because the anti-caking coating helps the crisps hold their shape.
